COPACABANA
RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL
The atmosphere is what makes Copacabana one of the most famous beaches in the world. Roughly 160,000 people live in the city of Copacabana, and thousands of others are visiting at any time (especially for the iconic New Year’s Eve celebration). Enjoy the warm water, soak in some rays, visit the famous bars and restaurants or simply enjoy a long afternoon of people-watching. The crowds and entertainment on this 4-kilometre-long stretch of sand never disappoint.
